Dispenser Sump Cleaning & Inspection

Dispenser sumps are the first line of defense against fuel releases at the dispenser. Regular cleaning and inspection keeps them functioning properly and keeps you compliant.

What's Included

  • Complete removal of water, fuel, and debris accumulation
  • Visual inspection of sump walls, floor, and fittings for cracks or damage
  • Check and test sump sensors and float switches
  • Inspect dispenser boots and interstitial space for fuel presence
  • Verify proper drainage and sump integrity
  • Written documentation of all findings and recommendations

Why It Matters

Neglected dispenser sumps are a leading cause of regulatory violations and environmental releases. Routine service catches problems early — before they become reportable incidents.

Turbine Sump Maintenance

Sump Services

Turbine Sump Maintenance

The turbine sump houses your submersible turbine pump and is a critical containment point for your UST system. Keeping it clean and properly sealed is essential for compliance and equipment longevity.

What's Included

  • Full cleaning of turbine sump interior
  • Inspection of turbine pump, riser pipe, and fittings
  • Check for water intrusion and fuel presence
  • Inspect and test turbine sump sensors
  • Verify sump lid seal and boot integrity
  • Document all findings with written service report

Why It Matters

Turbine sumps are inspected during state compliance checks. A clean, well-maintained sump with documented service history demonstrates due diligence and protects you during regulatory audits.

Leak Detection Services

Compliance

Leak Detection Services

Federal and state regulations require UST operators to have a functioning leak detection method in place at all times. We test, verify, and document your leak detection systems to keep you compliant.

What's Included

  • Automatic tank gauge (ATG) testing and verification
  • Line leak detector testing — mechanical and electronic
  • Interstitial monitoring system checks
  • Sensor functionality testing (sump, dispenser, turbine)
  • Statistical inventory reconciliation support
  • Compliance documentation and recordkeeping

Why It Matters

A failed or non-functioning leak detection system is one of the most common UST violations — and one of the most costly. Regular testing ensures your system is working and your records are in order.

Cathodic Protection
Corrosion Prevention

Type 01 · Passive

Sacrificial Anode (Galvanic)

Magnesium or zinc anodes buried near the tank corrode in place of the steel — providing passive, no-power-required protection. Best for newer, well-coated tanks and standard UST setups.

Type 02 · Active

Impressed Current (ICCP)

A rectifier converts AC to DC and drives a controlled protective current to the tank system. Adjustable output handles older bare steel tanks, larger systems, and high-corrosion environments.

Corrosion Prevention

Cathodic Protection

Steel UST tanks and piping corrode from the outside in. Cathodic protection is the primary defense against this — and federal regulations require it on all steel UST systems. We install, test, and maintain both system types.

What's Included

  • Sacrificial anode (galvanic) system installation and testing
  • Impressed current (ICCP) system installation and rectifier servicing
  • Periodic CP testing — every 3 years for galvanic, annually for ICCP
  • Anode replacement and system repairs
  • Rectifier output checks and adjustments
  • Full compliance documentation and test records

Why It Matters

Unprotected or failed cathodic protection is a direct path to tank and piping corrosion, leaks, and environmental liability. Proper CP maintenance is both a regulatory requirement and a smart investment in your equipment.

Canopy Cleaning & Restoration
Exterior

Exterior

Canopy Cleaning & Restoration

Your canopy is the most visible part of your site. A clean, well-maintained canopy signals a professional operation to customers — and protects a significant capital investment from premature deterioration.

What's Included

  • Pressure washing and deep cleaning of canopy surfaces
  • Removal of fuel staining, oxidation, and biological growth
  • Inspection of canopy structure, lights, and signage mounts
  • Minor repairs to fascia, trim, and panel connections
  • Drain and gutter cleaning
  • Condition assessment and restoration recommendations

Why It Matters

Canopy deterioration accelerates when dirt, fuel residue, and moisture are left untreated. Regular cleaning extends the life of your canopy finish and helps you catch structural issues before they become expensive repairs.

Fuel Piping Inspection & Repair
Infrastructure

Infrastructure

Fuel Piping Inspection & Repair

Fuel piping connects your tanks to your dispensers — and a failure anywhere in that system can mean a release, a shutdown, or both. We inspect, maintain, and repair piping systems to keep product moving safely.

What's Included

  • Visual and pressure testing of above-grade and below-grade piping
  • Inspection of flexible connectors, elbows, and fittings
  • Check for signs of fuel weeping, staining, or damage
  • Sump penetration and boot inspection
  • Repair or replacement of damaged piping components
  • Documentation of piping condition and any corrective actions

Why It Matters

Piping failures are a leading cause of UST releases. Proactive inspection identifies wear, damage, and improper installations before they result in a reportable leak or costly remediation.

Spill Bucket Service
Compliance

Compliance

Spill Bucket Service

Spill buckets catch product spills during fuel delivery — but only if they're clean, intact, and properly maintained. We service spill buckets to keep them functional and compliant.

What's Included

  • Complete cleaning and removal of accumulated fuel and debris
  • Inspection of bucket body, drain valve, and lid seal
  • Test drain valve operation and verify proper closure
  • Check for cracks, damage, or deterioration
  • Verify bucket is properly seated and sealed to the fill pipe
  • Written service documentation for compliance records

Why It Matters

A cracked or clogged spill bucket can allow product to reach the soil during every fuel delivery. Regular service is a low-cost way to prevent a high-cost environmental problem.

Operator Support

Custom Site Checklists

Between our service visits, your staff is your first line of defense. We create site-specific checklists tailored to your exact equipment, layout, and regulatory requirements — written in plain language your team can actually use.

What's Included

  • Equipment-specific inspection items for your exact site
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly operator task breakdowns
  • Early warning signs to watch for between service visits
  • Spill response and emergency procedure reminders
  • Formatted for easy use by non-technical staff
  • Updated whenever your equipment or site layout changes

Why It Matters

Operator error and missed early warning signs are behind many UST violations. A good checklist empowers your staff to catch issues early and demonstrates operator compliance during regulatory inspections.
